Job Description: E-commerce Analytics Manager
Position Overview:
The E-commerce Analytics Manager is a key role within our Retail and Sales department, responsible for leading and managing all aspects of e-commerce analytics. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and data analysis techniques. The E-commerce Analytics Manager will play a vital role in driving data-informed strategies, optimizing the online customer experience, and ultimately maximizing e-commerce sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce analytics strategies to enhance customer experience, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth.
2. Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of e-commerce data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
3. Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to measure and optimize e-commerce performance, including customer segmentation, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
5. Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic, customer behavior, and online marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
6. Monitor and track website performance metrics, e-commerce sales, and revenue targets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce analytics, and recommend innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement.
8. Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional growth and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in business, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) in e-commerce analytics, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
3. Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
4. Proficient in advanced analytics techniques, including customer segmentation, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, A/B testing, and predictive modeling.
5. Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, website analytics, and online marketing channels.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
